Members of the Lapeer County Genealogical Society are entitled to the following benefits:
- Access to the members-only section of the Website.
- Free use of the LCGS Research Center.
- Lapeer Legacy newsletters are published three times per year and posted on the Members‑Only webpage. Printed copies are mailed to members who do not have online access or a valid email address.
- Free Queries in the Newsletter (as space allows)
- Access to the Surname Research Tool
- Voting privileges in LCGS elections and matters requiring membership approval
- Opportunities to participate in Society activities, including serving on committees, attending events and volunteering.

- High School/College Student: $10
- Lifetime Membership (2 individuals in same household): $200
